Description Serving as an Assistant to the Location Captain, the Drive Captain is a dedicated and detail-oriented, hardworking leader with excellent customer service and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to coach and lead with aspirational technique. Leadership experience in high-traffic valet would be a plus, but is not required.

Job Summary: The leadership team at our operations runs counter-balanced schedules to ensure constant leader-on-duty coverage for a total of approximately 40-50 hours per week. This is an integral position reporting directly to the Location Captain and assumes the position duties regardless of whether or not leadership overlap occurs between the two.

Primary Duties:
Under the direction of the Location Captain, the Drive Captain will be in charge of the following:
• Supervising the daily operational activities of the valet operation and its employees
• Ensuring the service and hospitality standards are constantly met despite many regular challenges
• Preparing and generating daily revenue reports, schedules, and other detailed documents, either in full or in portion thereof
• Regular attendance at client staff meetings
• Keeping a pro-active list of scenarios, completed tasks, anticipated challenges, etc. for weekly client meetings, which may require your attendance on your days off
• Engaging guests in a friendly and polite manner to ensure guest safety and constant flow of traffic
• Investigating and resolving problems, internally and externally, relating to the valet lane area, valet operation, in coordination with security and mall management
• Contributing to quality improvement ideas both on a practical, small scale, and at a big picture, high level
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills, attributes and availability:
• Prior management/leadership experience or AmeriPark leadership training completed
• Physically able to endure long periods of standing/walking/running- there is little or no sitting for the duration of your shift
• Capable of conversing in clear and fluent English (bi-lingual in Spanish is also highly preferred)
• Proven customer service experience in a fast-paced, challenging environment

Education:
• High school graduate or equivalent

Experience:
• Experience in dealing with the public preferred
• AmeriPark Driving and Fitness Test

Communication:
• Demonstrated verbal and written effectiveness with the English language

Qualification:
• Pass criminal background and drug screen
• Valid Drivers License
• Pass Minimum AmeriPark Driving Criteria
• Must be at least 19 years of age
• Proficient use of Windows based PC
• Experience in handling revenue and processes
• Available 7 days a week and Holidays
