Role Mission:
TThe primary focus of this position is to execute hiring plans as needed, starting with creating and posting job ads to screening candidates, setting up and performing interviews, arranging second interviews with location managers, and performing orientation and valet training. This position oversees the new-hire process in collaboration with location managers in the region and sets each new person up for success on their first day on the job. If hired, you will represent the AmeriPark brand to candidates, and you will teach, train and exemplify our mission statement, "Winning through Service" to everyone you encounter. You will also report on open jobs, interviews and hiring status, and assist candidates with application challenges through the process. As the role develops, you learn to submit background checks, motor vehicle reports, and attend regional meetings with training and development initiatives in mind. You will collaborate with many leaders across the region and support them by getting quality-screened candidates in front of them. While a support role on paper, you will have the ability to move the dial to increase effectiveness and create meaningful change in the region through effective hiring and training efforts.

This position reports to the Regional Vice President of Operations and works closely with the SVP of HR.

Responsibilities:

Support staffing and training needs for 10-15 locations with approximately 500 employees throughout the South Florida region
Develop and implement communication and reporting to improve awareness of progress with the hiring process
Work with location managers to post job ads, process applicants through the candidate life-cycle within our UltiPro people software, perform interviews, hire (on-boarding) and perform orientations and training
Develop and implement a structured program to streamline the overall recruitment, hiring and training process
Identify key opportunity areas in our hiring and training program and make adjustments as needed
Lead and deliver training initiatives alongside Area Managers during monthly meetings
Invest in the success of employee satisfaction and retention vicariously through training exercises with location leaders
Assist in communicating corporate HR initiatives and participate in special project teams in the region
Execute changes according to location manager feedback, constantly improving safety, compliance and hospitality through better hiring and training
Investigate candidate complaints in regards to applications and the hiring process
Maintain interview and hiring records and prepare monthly hiring and recruiting reports
Regular daily travel within the Broward-Dade area
Potential to work from home when not in the field


Qualifications:

Education & Technical Skills:

3+ years experience working in a retail/hospitality environment
Fluent in Spanish (verbal and written)
5+ years' experience using MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint proficiency)

Physical Requirements: Able to read material, operate a computer and general office equipment and communicate verbally, both in person and via telephone. Able to spend periods of time driving between various locations and maintain energy and efficiency while on property.
