AS A TESTING PROCTOR, YOU WILL...

  • Receive training and administer State tests (FSA and EOC) to INDLS students at various testing sites in Indiana
  • Attend/complete required online and in-person training sessions and/or Test Administrator meetings, including end of testing debrief meeting
  • Read the State and School Test Administration Manual and Test Administrator Directions for the subject you will administer
  • Maintain and confirm that all equipment is up to date and in working order
  • Travel to test sites within assigned route
  • Set up tables, chairs, and computer lab
  • Take attendance for your classroom and report absences to site coordinator
  • Follow up with absent students to reschedule for make-up sessions
  • Read instructions to students/answer questions
  • Actively monitor and proctor students while they are taking the tests
  • Provide and maintain a safe and orderly testing environment
  • Accurately code test information in database
  • Able to lift 35-50LBS

  • Are you driven by excellence to deliver instruction, support and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’ individual needs? If selected, you will participate in a comprehensive new teacher training program for three weeks before the start of school. It is an opportunity to meet colleagues and learn the responsibilities required for delivering curriculum in an online environment. During this training you will also learn how to monitor student progress through K12’s learning management system, and to be a partner actively working with students and parents to advance each child’s learning.
    Requirements

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous experience working with and/or supervising children
    • Punctuality/Dependability/Ethics: an individual MUST be able to commit to being at the test site on the dates indicated during the times needed.
    • Attention to Detail
    • Able to lift 35-50LBS
    • Computer Software/Hardware: To perform this job successfully, an individual will need general computer knowledge to set up computer labs, access student test data, and attend online training sessions.
    • Travel: Ability to travel to/from local testing sites
    • Ability to pass required background check

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Some teaching and/or state testing experience
    • This is a classroom based position requiring ability to actively monitor students throughout the classroom while taking tests
