Title Admissions Support Representative

Description

The Admissions Support Representative assists with all administrative tasks for the Admissions Department and is the first post payment point of contact and the final point of contact for all International Academy students, with an emphasis on excellent customer service skills.

 

  • Effectively communicates the Private School Program to enrolling students and their families, via phone and email

 

  • Works with Private School families to coordinate the admissions and enrollment process from the point of sale through enrollment and on-boarding

 

  • Works with part-time and full-time Private School families to submit all documentation prior to the Admissions Conference

 

  • Follows through every enrollment process accurately

 

  • Acts as the main point of contact for all new families prior to achieving full compliancy

 

  • Assists with inquiries received via email and the Admissions chat queue

 

  • Proactively identifies potential barriers within the student enrollment process and initiates steps resulting in resolution

 

  • Works collaboratively with Enrollment, Academics, and the Registrar in an effort to support families from enrollment through matriculation

 

  • Provides reenrollment support for returning families

 

  • Provides accurate program and product knowledge updates, continual parent and student feedback and other information contributing to improved business outcomes

 

  • Serves as one of the final points of contact for all withdrawing family questions and inquiries
Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two (2) years of progressive experience in admissions, administrative or enrollment related function at the independent school or college levels OR

• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates and Licenses: Notary Public preferred.

 

OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Must demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Bias towards action; proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, other technology based programs

• Ability to pass required background check

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business or other relevant field of study

• Two (2) years of administrative/admissions/enrollment experience at the independent school or college levels
