Title Development, Fundraising and Sponsorship Manager

Description Key Responsibilities/Outcomes (include but not limited to):
• Cultivate, manage, and grow NEW relationships with priority corporate partners/sponsors with annual revenue of at least $500,000 plus and/or potential to grow to at least $1MM per year.
• Develop compelling proposals and presentations to send to corporations, foundations, and organizations to solicit sponsorships, grants, and in-kind support.
• Initiate innovative ideas to generate NEW revenue and add value to partnerships.
• Ensure appropriate delivery of sponsorship benefits at every level of the project.
• Assist the Director with managing existing corporate partners/sponsors
• Build relationships with key corporate and NEW contacts at all levels and across a variety of functions to help advance the partnership.
• Develop and implement a strategy for raising funds on-line and through social media.
• Write and file sponsorship reports for the benefits of documentation and review.
• Develop appropriate correspondence, such as thank you letters and program outcomes information.
• Work with the Director and EVP to track and manage revenues, expenses, and income projections.
• Negotiate partnership terms and contracts.
• Lead/participate in special projects.
• Some travel may be involved.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director.
Requirements Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree or advance degree (e.g., MBA)
· 5 – 10 years’ experience in sales, vendor relationships, sponsorship, fundraising, grant-writing, corporate/cause partnerships, account management, and/or corporate branding/marketing
· Proven ability to generate revenue; creative thinker with ability to identify and pursue NEW funding leads and opportunities
· Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority
· Ability to develop and execute an account plan, including goals, metrics, strategy, and tactics
· Ability to lead internal and external meetings, including webinars, conference calls, and in-person meetings
· Excellent ability to set proprieties, plan long-term, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and perform in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to collect, analyze, organize, distill, and present information
· Must be comfortable and work effectively with numbers, budgets, and data
· Excellent negotiation skills; able to build consensus and find creative solutions
· Excellent written and oral communication skills; capability to edit and proofread
· Highly skilled at MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Power Point
· Salary commiserates with experience
