Macmillan is currently offering paid internship opportunities for summer 2019. Internships are available in following areas: Editorial, Marketing, Publicity, Art & Design, Production and Children’s Books.
Please be sure to specify your areas of interest in your cover letter.
Interns will be provided with the opportunity to participate in work related assignments, gain practical work experience, and network with employees from various departments. Overall, the intern will become familiar with the basic structure of a publishing
house and the role of each department within. The Macmillan summer internship program is available to candidates who have graduated high school, are over the age of 18, are eligible to work in the U.S. and aspire to pursue a career in the publishing industry.
Internships are anticipated to start in late May or early June and will continue through August. If needed, there may be some flexibility in regards to the duration of the internship.
